We would like to welcome you to Atlantic Gospel
Chapel. We are an independent evangelical
local church comprised of individuals who have
personally expressed faith in the death and
resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, and who are
committed to the teaching of the Word of God.
Doctrinally, we adhere to evangelical orthodoxy as
taught in the pages of Scripture. Our outreach
includes, along with other similar churches,
commending and supporting missionaries who serve
world-wide. Concerning this particular church
body, we began in January, 1954, meeting at the Cass
County Court House, later building at 13th and Elm
Streets. In 1978 additional classrooms,
kitchen, and restroom facilities were added. We
have no greater privilege than to explain what it
means to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Elsewhere on this site is a Statement of Faith that
explains our standing in the scripture regarding
sinful man's position before God as well as God's
provision for salvation through the shed blood of
His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
